I also love your reviews, they are very thoughtful and clever, and have made me expand my reading horizons a bit. Love to get a set. Julia Quinn is one of my favorite authors and your review makes these books come alive! If I tried to chop a scene, I think the managing editor would have a heart attack. Thank you Julia, for the input.
I always dread quoting from ARCs. And I will not enter you in the contest. These books are being universally praised throughout Romancelandia. I really want to read both stories now. Adding them to my wish list.

Mr. Cavendish, I Presume (Two Dukes of Wyndham)
Bridget Locke September 18, at pm I can't wait to read this. These questions are answered here, but sadly there isn't much else new or interesting in it. Many of the scenes are the same as in The Lost Duke of Wyndham , though from either Thomas's or Amelia's point of view rather than Grace or Jack's , and the result feels rather repetitive.
We experience the same events a second time with a few different insights into what happens, but there's not much else to the book. Someone who hasn't read the previous book will be able to follow the events in this one easily enough as most scenes are explained, so it doesn't seem to matter in which order they are read.
